Tilly Holiday on HubPages

I'm an aspiring travel writer, New Zealand native and new hubber! During the day I study to be a travel agent (it's a great job and you get sweet discounts on flights), and in my spare time I tend to our small flock of chickens and ride my horse Geronimo.

He used to be a show jumper but after missing an entire round of fences he was put out to pasture. He won't jump anymore, but I don't mind getting off him to open gates and such like. It's better than sending him to the glue factory as his previous owners were going to do!

I'm hoping to start work as a travel agent towards the end of the year, though with the economy the way it is I will have to really learn how to sell very well if I am to succeed! Fortunately the course I am on is very good and most of the graduates get work in the industry, so hopefully I'll be an expert in New Zealand travel industry by November!
