A freelance writer and stay-at-home mom, Amy studied journalism and creative writing in college, worked as a staff writer and editor for various publications and later worked as a corporate software trainer. She is a licensed massage therapist, with additional certifications in sports massage, infant massage, and reflexology.

Originally from Westchester, NY, Amy now lives in Connecticut with her husband (a super genius), their three daughters (a fairy, a princess and a little angel), two cats (who think they own the place) and one very large Labrador (who fears the cats). And if she won lotto tomorrow, her first priority would be to hire a maid and a cook and take a much-needed nap. Until that happens, Amy will continue to feed her ever-growing addiction to all things caffeinated to maintain the necessary pace and keep up with her kids, her writing and all the debris from living that needs cleaning up.

She is a knitter, an equestrian and an avid reader. Her main objective in writing is to share and encourage others with her knowledge, experiences and adventures in parenting from the ever so practical advice found in Bedtime Games to the account of a day in the life in My Cup Runneth Over.
