My name is Mary Antionette Powell and sometimes West
I live and work in Little Rock Arkansas.I work as a Surgical Technologist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital. I graduated from the Baptist School of Allied Health in 2001. I absolutely love what I do. I want other people to know what a Surgical Technologist is and does. I believe that everyone should love or at the very least like what they do for a living. Check out my hubs on What is a Surgical Technologists (Scrub), and How to be a Successful Surgical Technologist
I have two and one-half children. No I'm not pregnant. I have a stepdaugher whom I consider as one of my own. She is 17, my other daughter is 14 and my son is ten. They keep me on my toes. My sons refusal to go to school forced me to take a look from his point of view. During the process I found out a few things. The hub Mamma's BOY or Sensitive CHILD was the result of my findings. I am glad to say he is in school now.
I absolutely love photography. I only dabble in it. I would like to make at least a part-time career out of it.
All of the pictures on my hub pages I took. The drawings are another matter. My attempt at poetry is also sprinkled in some of the hubs. One of the hubs published is a combination of things I'm interested in Poetry combined with you guessed it photography. DEPRESSION - how it feels in pics and poetry
Take a look around around my hubs and check out the pictures. Also check out a story my brother wrote called Vandel IV, and tell me how you like it. The previous presidential election and the various "moral" issues led me to creat a page on a taboo subject. Check it out. It is not what you think, and you just might learn something. The hub is called PORNOGRAPHY ?

Your hub on Bi-Polar Disorder is a great hub and very truthful. I tried to comment on it, but there was no comment box. I have a family member with this disease. It's very serious and I commend you for helping people understand it who have never encountered it. Keep up the great work.
