For more than ten years and counting, Ben Akoa has been a professional in the mortgage Industry; for seven of those years he served the public as a Residential and Commercial Mortgage Broker. Currently he is a HUD certified Foreclosure prevention Counselor with Money Management International (MMI) a non-profit organization and member of the Hope Now Alliance. MMI is also the nation’s largest housing Counseling agency. Haven been on both sides of the Mortgage spectrum as a mortgage broker and now a Foreclosure Prevention counselor, he has counseled thousands of Homeowners nationwide. He is knowledgeable, full to the brim of advice about the reasons people foreclosure, how to keep one's home, how to approach a lender / servicer about saving one's property or even proper disposition of the property if one can no longer afford it. Ben Akoa also writes fictions, mainly thrillers. His first novel INSTANT MESSENGER, is due to be published early next year (2010).
