I was bit by the photo bug about 5 years ago, when I discovered my passion for photography.

Through trial and error, and experienting with Photoshop, I have learned a lot about processing my digital photos.

Over the years I have created several websites to display my images, and give them away for desktop background wallpapers. You can view my photos on my most recent and comprenhensive site Wallpaper by Design.

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to many beautiful places with my husband in our RV. We toured Yellowstone (spent a month there while waiting for truck repairs, long story, best spot to be stranded!). We visited the Grand Tetons, Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rainforest, Mt. Rainier, Yosemite, to name a few. We searched for wildlife, and beautiful scenery.

We cruised the Washington, Oregon, and California Coasts. Always on the lookout for a beautiful sunset, or spectacular ocean view.

My poor computer has close to 10,000 photos, from those I have posted about 2000.

My husband passed away last August, in October I moved to Thailand to spend time with my youngest son. I recently returned to California, Sacramento specifically, to spend a little time with my other son, and daughter, and grandchildren, while I work on getting a more permanent visa for Thailand.

I hope to share with you some of the techniques I have learned to create the best image from your digital shot.
