I'm a graduate student at the University of Illinois in Champaign, but from Minnesota originally.  I think I am bound to be a midwesterner until the day I die really. 

I love nature, birds, and the outdoors, as well as bustling downtown areas, coffee shops, art museums, quirky bookstores, writing, reading, music, the usual I suppose.  I write fiction and nonfiction pieces and am equally interested in either.
