Grousepup is the pen name (one of them anyway) of John R. Falk, an author of many outdoor magazine articles and four books on the subject of dogs. He has his own five-year-old website: www.dogs4ever.com which, not too oddly, deals with all sorts of information on dogs.

His four books, two of which are still in print: "Gun Dogs" and "The Complete Guide to Bird Dog Training," have become classics in their field. Naturally, his passions have included owning and training bird dogs. hunting upland birds, and flyfishing for trout.
