My name is Barin Mehta.

I am an average Indian, one can say Asian too.

I am a language student and literature person. I have done my post graduation in language and literature. I have started my working carrier as a lecturer and after eight years I joined to work in encyclopedia of Gujarati literature as entry writer. After one and half year I got new job as a writer in Center for Environment Education. Till the date I am working there as a senior writer.

My one novel published in 1977 and won second prize. But basically I am a poet and my poetry collection was published in 1987 by well known Kavilok Trust, titled 'ARISAGHAR' (The Mirror-house). I am active as writer in the various literature forms; like, dramas, stories, articles about literature and book reviews and at least 15 books are credited with me as an editor. I have written more than 200 scripts for TV serials, TV films, Documentaries and social issue based films.

Besides all these, one under current was there always, which was leading me towards spirituality since my childhood years. All my search regarding meaningful and positive life lead me to Sri Aurobindo and The Mother as my Spiritual Guru. I am trying to follow the Integral Yoga and very well aware that yet miles to go!

Mean while I was connected with healing and so learned Reiki natural healing system as well as Karuna Reiki System and Crystal therapy too. I am also teaching these systems to those who are interested in healing! My site has  details about my such activities. You can click here to go there:

I am married. My wife Jagruti is also a poetess. We are parents of two young boys; Who are now animation artist.
