I am fifty-something; married (I married "up", as a friend reminds me), 2 teen boys, a funny looking Labradoodle named Little Bear, a cat-Beamer (that is, apparently, insane). I operate a tiny used-car lot (1 1/2 man operation) that sells "entry-level" cars (a euphemism for cheap, old, ugly cars-pretty much what I've always driven). I promise there will never be any further mention of my business life except as it may mix with relational, experiential stuff in a general way. I am a Christ follower, but I don't have a fish on my car. I am an early stage reconstruction project, and often display behaviors that would reinforce many peoples' suspicions of hypocrisy and phoniness in Christians. Where once I would hang out the window and curse "idiot" drivers, now I curse with the window up, then realize shortly thereafter, that I'm an idiot, too. I once fancied myself able to write, so this blog is sort of a "bucket list" revisiting of that pasttime.
