Lefse River is a fictional place. It exists in a rural area with rivers, lakes and forest. There are small farms here; lots of mud, rocks and swamp.  People like to fish and hunt. This author is a fictional inhabitant. The winters are cold. Seasons are appreciated for their change.  Physical labor is common.  There are many kinds of birds and wildlife. A small town nearby has a grocery store where folks are friendly. This is a place north of the big cities.
