A Humanist heart with just a touch of the airy faery!
I call myself a 'Holistic-Humanist' because I feel this best describes my view of life:
...that although every person is a uniquely individual entity, if we are to live fulfilled and productive lives, it is important to understand ourselves as a part of other more abstract structures.
...that, in the main, it is up to the individual to create happiness in their life by taking responsibility for & control of their thoughts and actions.
At one time these two sets of beliefs were at the crux of debates of opposing ideals. But the times they are a changing :)
