Being a writer is an amazing job. Meeting interesting people, traveling and finding those breaking news stories are rewarding.

I will continue to give up the ability to express my opinions to become the most objective writer I can be. I believe the goal is to be objective in the writing and presenting of the issues. My job is to observe and give the most accurate story possible. My personal opinions simply give me the passion to be a writer and seek the truth, not influence what goes in the paper. Chances are that if your employees are interested in an issue, many readers would be as well. It is the news that makes a story, not the writer.
