Born in Saigon and raised around the country.  I spent a lot of my youth in the south, namely Mississippi.  The south has a very unique and interesting culture and isn't at all like what is portrayed in the movies and television.  It is a simpler life in the south, but simple doesn't mean stupid.  Sometimes, in fact, it means just the opposite.

The second phase of my youth was spent in Washington state trying to learn a new culture and trying to fit into a new school.  These were very difficult times that I still draw upon for some of my darker writings.  The difficulties here were a stark contrast to my popularity in the south.  It changed who I was, but alas I'm not the person I was in high school anymore either.  It's interesting that I changed so dramatically from the days in Mississippi to the Days in High School in Washington State and again after high school.

I'm not the person I was in high school and those who've met me since have declared they would never have recognized me.  Not only have I changed a bit in appearance, but also in attitude and persona which is the biggest change of all.

But, like I said before, sometimes I draw on the experiences of the past for my darker writings, my darker musings.
