Rainbow Brite on HubPages

My favorite color is purple, I don't remember my natural hair color, and I have two and a half dogs and a cat.  (If it bounces when it barks, it doesn't count as a whole dog.)  And I maintain that cats don't have owners...they have staff.

Anyway, I'm just your average girl-next-door-that-wears-corsets-and-chain-pants-and-works-her-ass-off kinda person.  I was born in the year of the Tiger, my sun is in Sagittarius, and my moon is in Leo.  Any questions?  I didn't think so.  (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you need to read my Astrology hub!  http://hubpages.com/hub/Astrology-and-Our-Lives)

I've done just about everything related to retail sales.  I have quite literally sold everything from makeup (worked at Sally Beauty Supply for two years) to hardware (worked at Menards for a year and a half) and everything in between. 

In terms of writing, I've been writing basically all my life, in some fashion or another.  I have written short stories, poetry, editorials, and I always have at least one or two perpetually unfinished novels in the works.  I think the one I'm currently working on with my best friend actually has some potential to be finished at some point.  It's all about our experiences of being abused and subsequently running away, with a bit of a cold outsiders perspective on our personalities and why we are the way that we are. 

My three biggest weaknesses in my writing are that I am very slow, I tend to ramble, and that I kinda draw a blank when it comes to titles and topics so if you have something specific you would like me to write about (especially if it happens to fall in one of my areas of expertise) I would be glad to do so, just don't expect it to be on any kind of a time frame.  I have a hub in the works that I've been working on for four months now and I know the person that requested it has probably forgotten all about the request or thinks that I've forgotten or something but trust me it will be well worth the wait this one is awesome. 

I pretty much write what I feel at the moment, unless of course I have been given some type of direction.  I suck at spelling, but I'm pretty good with punctuation, capitilization, and proper usage.  (It drives me nuts when somebody writes something like, "Hay lets go over their!"  No numbskull, it's "Hey, let's go over there!")  I'm just slightly OCD about things like that!

I'm slightly bi-polar, a lil OCD, and I have ADHD tendancies...so get it, sit down, hold on, and shut up!  Enjoy the ride, I promise it will be a good one!
