My name is Rachel, and recently celebrated my 9 month anniversary as a newlywed, married to my best friend.  I am a passionate Christian, an avid runner, blogger, writer, reader, and housewife.  I also enjoy being outdoors and feel closest to God in nature.  I am the proud owner of an easily-excitable, sometimes neurotic, always hyper ferret named Oscar.  My husband & I are enjoying putting the finishing touches on our first home, and slowly-but-surely making a vegetable garden and woodshop. 

My husband is a 2nd-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I make a point of running & doing strength training everyday.

We dream of moving to Seattle someday, to enjoy mountain views & very cold water.

Being that my husband's family is from Seattle, WA, and mine is from Gatlinburg, TN, we divide our time between Cincinnati, Seattle, and Gatlinburg.
