Hey Sneako, I'm kinda the same way, I'm speaking from my experience. I have noticed a lot of hate towards Christianity, and it actually hurts me. Jesus did predict that we will be hated for his name sake. But I have the feeling that Jesus Christ has been horribly misrepresented. I took the time to read the Bible and I have seen so many instances where a Christian would go against Biblical principles in regards of how to treat a person. A great part of Christianity is how you treat others. In fact the greatest commandments are Love the Lord with all your heart mind and soul and strength, and Love your neighbor as yourself. As far as the overzealous and offensive, those are the only ones I am addressing. I have been a victim of their venom when I was and was not a believer. The same things I write down, I've talked about with many of my fellow believers and they knew what I was talking about. I may be wrong, but looking back at my life, I was never right. So if I will be wrong, I shall be wrong for the Lord. I am by no means perfect, in fact I'd say I'm the most imperfect person that I know. (I'm on the streets) But I'm trying to be a better person.
