Well now that I am cancer free (Physicians prefer the term "In total remission") I am enjoying my semi retirement from the insurance industry. I even went fishing last month and caught and released a mess of bass so that they could continue to grow and prosper in the Umpqua River. Now I work in the senior care industry specializing in folks with memory issues.
Lots of my friends are against The Obama Health Reform even though they are part of the socialized medical program that is managed by the VA. Government owned hospitals, government paid physicians and staff..oops! Settle down now.
Having been selling health insurance for over 30 years I can tell you that there is no competition...7 companies in America run the whole deal...Just like the Oil and Gas Industry...lots of competition there too, ha ha ha.
I live in Southern California at the beach. I surfed every day until a few years ago and I got too fat to be safe in the waves. It isnt the riding part that is dangerous it is the part where you have to paddle out to the surf line that is rough. So I am trying to get back in shape now but at 69 years of age it isnt quite as easy as it was when I was 50 when I learned the darned sport.
I have a dog and two cats. Dogs have owners. Cats have a staff.
I am married to a wonderful woman who takes care of me since I never grew up and still behave like a 13 year old.
