I was born in West Virginia as Tanya L. Bungard. I was raised between Belmont County, Ohio and Chesterfield County, Virginia. In 1989, I settled in Grant County, West Virginia at the age of 14. Rural living was a culture shock to me and it was hard to adapt.

As I grew into adulthood, I had 3 children from my first marriage. During my first marriage I was known as Tanya L. Hedrick. My children are the foundation of my life and I love them with all my heart. I divorced in 2005 and remarried in the same year to my best friend.

I have spent 5 years as a volunteer firefighter and 3 years as an EMT-B. I have met many people over the course of my career. Many have become my friends while others have become my enemies. As a female in this line of work, there are always others out there that try to get you down.

In December of 2006, I completed my A.A.S. in Criminal Justice from Allegany College of Maryland. It took me quite a long time to finish this degree, but it has given me the tools necessary to conquer life. I have moved on with my education through Ashworth University. I am working on my Bachelors degree in Business Administration. It has always been a dream of mine to own my own business(s).

I have lead a life full of experiences which has made me a well-rounded adult. I have learned not to judge people until I have walked in their shoes. Everyone is entitled to their own thoughts, personalities and life. I love everyday and everyone I am blessed with. I am looking forward to all the future adventures life brings me.
