thinking out loud on HubPages

I am what is referred to as an american firster. I don't subscribe to globalist theories or market suicide as we have followed it.  Now retired, i have the time and desire to enjoy sharing my opinions with anyone that will listen or read.   And, yes, i did retire too early in life, but took advantage of the opportunity and have never regretted it.  . I enjoy a good argument.  Irony plays a big part in how I see things. Hypocricy is my enemy, political correctness the biggest sin. I believe in  free speech for everyone, and that means everyone.  Not just the particular favorite class of the day. To me, the constitution is the law of the land.  Not the decisions fostered on us by whim of political elites. While i believe we are all responsible for the govt we have, all in govt are not held responsible for the mis-deeds they do. And the truth of the matter, when it comes to who rules, the SWORD is mightier than the PEN. That needs to change. I have traveled to most of the corners of the earth, and believe we still have the best nation around.  What we need to do is protect it and demand we stop the headlong lurch to be just another third world nation.  Too many people worked too hard and sacrificed too much to let that happen.  I hope you enjoy what I have to say.
