Hi. I'm Angie from Alberta, Canada. I love to write and am enjoying HubPages.
I'm a mom, grandmother, stepmom, wife and foster mom.
We have a busy household.
My husband and I are foster parents. At the present time we have a sibling group of three preschool children and a darling daughter that we have adopted. She just turned 3 years old. Life is busy. It's like starting a second family, which I guess is what we're doing, but we love it. It's very rewarding. Challenging yes, but rewarding.
For many years, I was an educational assistant working with elementary aged children with learning difficulties. I also have a son who has struggled with learning disabilities all his life. Over the years, I've learned how to advocate for children with special needs.

My parents were foster parents of several children over the years, so I know what you're going through on the other side! And my years have been spent with preschoolers (my favorite age group, except as they age, then that's the one I like too!), so remember - get plenty of rest and write down all the neat things they say! Keep up the good work.
