Is 2012 really the end as some science and history suggest, or is it just another hype like the new millennium was?

"Science" and "history" are not "suggesting" 2012 is the end. The Mayan Calendar just stops in 2012, that's all... and Nostradamus has nothing to do with it (he predicted events up to 3797!).
