Most definitely yes! Recycling should be given a lot more attention than its getting now. A lot of people including myself are confused what is and is not recyclable. So we end up throwing a lot of stuff. There is so much to know about recycling. Recycling is not just placing the plastics, glass, and paper in the different recycling beans to be picked up. It is giving our old clothing and shoes to charitable organizations or second hand stores. It is also buying used stuff instead of brand new everytime. Little things like using both sides of a piece of paper and using all those envelopes from junk mail to write notes can help a lot. And in this information or electronic age to really consider buying used or upgraded electronics will go a long way in reducing the rapidly growing e-waste which is so toxic to us and the environment. It is all these and a lot more. The media can be a lot more involved in informing and educating the public about this very important issue.
