I live for myself and my family, for the people that surround me. I think Jesus can take care of himself at this point.

Jesus. I live for Jesus. I put on the armour of God each day. He love e. He wants the best for me. I go through trials and my faith deepens. I would lay my life down for Jesus. He created you and I for a purpose. I want to do his divine purpose for him. It was not always like that. I was a druggie, alcoholic, you name it that was me. I was self sentered. I came close to bringing the home down with spending more and then more. I am forgiven. He died for us, so we could have life eternal. I do not think I would trade anything as it took what it took for me to surrender to a power greater then myself. Today I have peace. I would hope the light shines throgh me. I may not leave earth rich or famous but I think other would say Patti loved the Lord esus. There is no better high. I talk to Jesus each day. I have grown in a massive way since I started on line 20 months ago. My life should be a wreck by worldy view. I am in debt up to eyballs,
so much has gone on. I have walked with God. He has taken care of me and my family. He is awesome. I practice faith. I give Love. I know my home awaits for me. This is a holding spot for a while. God wants us to prosper and be in good health in this life.. If there is a hole fill it with the love of Jesus. He will give you peace. He is the way, the truth, the life.
The way to heaven is through Jesus. Romans 10 Verse 9-10. With Love Patti
Born Again 05 says
Since receiving Christ into my heart, I seek every day to live for Him, do His will and in every way glorify Him. It's all about Him...not about me. I seek to share my faith with the lost at every opportunity. Yes indeed...I am living for Jesus.

Wow! This is a great question! It is easy to live for yourself--putting your heart in education, careers, success, etc. To live for Jesus means to put Jesus at the center of your life. It means giving Him the steering wheel and letting Him direct your path. Instead of expecting reconnection for your own accomplishments,it's putting all of yourself into recognizing the beauty in all Jesus does, through praise & worship. It is also knowing that You are nothing without Him.
I am just a humble servant of the Lord. I know that I can not live for myself, because I mess things up. I live to serve Jesus alone....to worship Him and glorify Him in all I do.

In alot of ways this is a trick question for me. To truly live for Jesus is living for your self and vice versa.
If I do what is best for me, to live for myself, I put Jesus first and His teachings into action.
If I live for Jesus, I am automatically doing what is best for myself.
Unfortunately, life is not that easy....as I find myself in a constant battle between the two.

My meat is to do the will of God. When I reflect on the power of God in my life, I would be like Jonah if I did not live for Jesus. King David settled the Jonah mistake in my mind by asking where can you run from th presence of God. The only running I plan to do is to run the race of life and lay hold on Jesus Christ.Today I was the speaker and used the text Philippians 3:10 -14 for the discourse. It was well received. Eventually I will present it as a hub.

Living for Jesus -- I'd Give my Life for Him

Many of us would like to think that we are living for Jesus. But before we can actually live for Jesus, we must first have an honest relationship with Him; to know him in the pain of his suffering and the joy and power of his ressurection. It would better serve us to have a renewed mind. Within this reality we are transformed. So are we living for Him or is he living through us? It's a lot to think about. thank you for the question.
Are you living for Jesus or just for yourself?
This question came up. Am I living for Jesus? My first reaction was an offended yes. Then I thought about it. On a deeper level, was I? Jesus hung out with all of the despised of society. I was avoiding... keep reading →

The Father called me to His Son and I responded: "Here am I" So how can I not be living for The Lord Jesus Christ?
If you are truly called of The Father and Born Again through Baptism (full immersion) and then the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you can no longer be living for yourself, for it would be impossible to do so.
Once He gives you the desire to follow Him you can do nothing else, hence Peter said these wonderful words when He was not, as yet, Born Again:
John 6:66-68 (KJV) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Did Peter live for himself or for The Lord and did he really have any choice!!??
