Financial Demands of Owning a Pet

Well being a fan of reptiles, you can purchase a kingsnake or a python and not have to worry too much about the financial burdens of taking care of it. With snakes, there will be initial expenses when you purchase the snake and get the proper habitat for him/her (which only consists of a cage, water bowl, and a hideout spot). After that your only financial concerns are going to be buying it mice on a weekly basis which shouldn't cost more than a couple of bucks at your local pet store and upgrading the tank size when it reaches a bigger size. You can probably spend less on the entire lifetime of a snake than you would buying a plasma screen TV.
