A co-worker gets jealous why? It is because of his inefficiency. Under such circumstances he should not be rude to him rather sober and amiable as he is a co-worker, which will one day win his heart. Then his jealousy will turn into friendship.

Jealous, Jealous of what....Your work ethic..clothes, car, your relationship with the boss. It all would depend on how it affected your work and your place at work. If it`s just pettiness you rise above it. If it affects your job you may have to confront and resolve.
