Regardless of Race: People are People

"What can we do to stop the dreadful disease racism that's killing the world?" "And the second [commandment] is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. "          -Matthew 22:39... keep reading →

It starts with each of us teaching our children about how racism has affected others. The past shows how horrible racism has caused people to act. From Hitler to the KKK, it is all the same, atrocious. We must teach our children that the color of skin does not define a person. We must teach them to judge people only by their individual words and actions. Hatred breeds hatred and if we can teach our children something different then they in turn can teach their children and so on... God created us equally vital and beautiful in this world. Our diversities are wonderful and to be respected and enjoyed. Every time you hear a racist comment or racist joke in your "circle", don't laugh, don't take part in it, don't agree just to be like the rest, stand up and say something. "Hey that's not cool I have an African-American friend", "I happen to be 1/3 Polish, I don't appreciate that:", "Jesus is Jewish" Etc... there is always something you can say! Racism in the end kills. Friendship lives on!

Hatred breeds hatred but why? When a young thinks a danger of his future life. In Australia what we find young Australians are attacking young Indians. It is because young Australians are motivated by politicians that their job will be taken by the educated Indians. So where is the problem? The problem lies with the economy of the country. The same thing happened in U.K. in 1973 when Idi Amin threatened the British citizens to leave Uganda in a short notice. Lacks of Indians of Indian origin but British nationals arrived in London, an open street rioting took place. The country where civilization has taken its root had been polluted with the riots of racism, what a disgrace for humanity? However credit goes to the wisdom of the then Prime Minister of U.K. He consoled the young Blisters giving the statistics what the Indians earn for the country and what they took away. So the root cause of rascism is the economy of the country. The world has changed in the 21st century. People young or old must be educated with broader outer look of humanity where every individual of every country is an asset of the globe provided he or she nurtured for the betterment of the globe to create a beautiful world.

Its really impossible to stop racism because sense we are all imperfect. We are bound to bring this issue up, over and over again, to keep the worse from happening again. The past teachings is in the school's history books the News, internet, media etc. That stuff is just not going to go anywhere. Somebody will always bring it up. Like what many people have said. Love is only thing that can destroy hate.

How To Stop Racism.

Here is a fun Tim factoid: Tim used to be in the Army. Pretty cool right? I used to dress up in camoflauge everyday and get paid for it! They even let me carry a rifle. Scary I know. During my adventures... keep reading →

Like someone else said: love. We need to just forge lasting friendships with everyone we meet, talk, exchange ideas, learn about different cultures.

The problem a lot of times is fear. It's fear of the unknown, that this other person, because they're different, may be an enemy, a representation of what we can't stand. It's fear they're inherently going to ruin whatever we've got. Just because they look different, dress different, speak different.

This fear causes far too many to hate others because all they see is the general image and not the human being.

What can we do? Love, seek to understand.

Racism is an age old biased for one type of person, usually promoted by self-loathing, narcissistic manipulators looking to get ahead. The idea of beauty, freedom, liberty and all of these other ideals that don't really exist in the real world are food for racism to flourish, creating religious, physical and psychologic standards that other races cannot live up to.

America is the poster child for racism in today's world, but at the same time, America is the arena in which racism can truly be obliterated. There are a few things standing in our way. Fundamental Capitalism is one of those things. Homeland Security. You can't talk about Race in this country without talking about class.

A truly non-racist society is one that has no kings, no bosses, no money, no property and no countries. Racism is a symptom of human subjugation aimed at enslaving other races either physically or mentally and creating a cost benefit situation. When Europeans crossed over to Africa and usurped minerals given by Africans as gifts in order to create state-of-the-art weapon, they reiterated an ancient lesson: in order for any race to enjoy freedom from oppression, the easiest route to take is to oppress someone else.

Long story short, racism is the easy way out. Love and understanding are not feelings, but they are actions. Racism is an enemy that requires hard work, and not just some higher brain, inexplicable and sudden commitment to love and understanding. We can eradicate racism, but it will be extremely hard work. Especially in a country where convenience (and cash) is king; and racism and the belief in it are god given rights.

Love is the answer.

The only real way to eliminate racism is to love people, as they enter our lives, one by one. Each person is a unique individual not made by him or herself, and if we treat the people who are in our lives... keep reading →
