I'm sure I read somewhere that George Clooney holds the movie rights to Steven Pressfield's Gates of Fire. Gates of Fire recounts the story of the 300 Spartan warriors who fought in the battle of Thermopylae. Recently filmed as 300, I would love to see this made into a movie in the same vein as Gladiator/Sparticus/Troy. As much as i love 300, I think it didn't do justice to what is, after all, a true story.
