Yes, there are many different styles of drawing: there is the academic or traditional one, there is the more free and experimental style, the drawings for comic books or science fiction stories and the caricature drawings.
Each style expresses different needs and ideas of the artist. For me art is basically a way to come closer to the nature of things, to understand them and cherish them. It's a way to love, maybe.. :-))
