I just read that, I think it was Greenspan, the economy was going to dip and flatten out in 2010. It's hard to say right now what will happen. The middle east could blow up and cause us all kinds of problems or the dollar could keep losing its value and keep the economy from reviving.
The way I overcome it is by not concerning myself with it. If you want to get ahead in life the economy is irrelevant, you will find a way.
