Facts on Lasik surgery. How effective was it for you? How bad was your sight prior to surgery? What was your recovery like (length, pain level, etc.)? Would you recommend it to others?

I would not recommend it. If you want to have it done so you do not have to wear glasses. It is not worth it. My sister in law, lost an eye due to her Lasik surgery. Both eyes infected within 24 hours. She almost lost both eyes, and now she has one glass eye and yes, she still has to wear glasses. Vanity is not worth losing an eye over.

Thank you for telling me your story. Im so sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. I hope that doctor lost his license. Best wishes to you and your family.
