I agree with 'The Sharks' that Obama has shown inexperience. He has misspoken over the arrest of Henry Gates, and has had issues gathering the party (which shouldn’t be an issue because politicians should be working for the people – not the party).
I view inaction and over reaction as the same thing. My biggest insult to Bush would be he was an extremist, and had tendencies toward inaction or over reaction only. Obama has over reacted to the problems facing America and due to this cannot see clearly from not letting any dust settle (metaphorically).
To me this means he hasn’t hurt or helped America in any way yet. We’re still suffering form the same problems we were with Bush.
Do I agree with the path Obama is trailing? No, not at all.
It’s simply too early to tell what his actions will produce. Once that pesky metaphorically dust settles, and we see where we are then we can make an assessment.
You can disagree with the actions Obama has taken, but what results can you disagree with (other than the budget #’s, but if the spending helps America in the end, you can’t really complain, but people normally still do)?
Once again, other than the planed budget, which is too soon to accurately judge its effect (theories are not true effects!), and the timetable in Iraq, which is way to soon to judge its success, what is different than what we had during the Bush years?

Being experienced in politics means you have been in politics for awhile and I am not interested in someone with that type of experience, it would be like wanting someone who experienced prison, because they are all greedy crooks. As far as misspeaking about the Cambridge police, he meant what he said and still means it, he didn’t say anything that wasn’t true but he took that back because white America doesn’t like to hear people of color complain about racism.
My problem with the president is he is too nice and seems like a push over. He cares too much about bipartisanship and not about bringing his party together and getting everything he promised done. The only thing I like about the Republican Party is they don’t give a damn what a democrat or independent thinks. They get what they want done and don’t try to please anyone. I think the president needs to take his group of 60 punks (Senate Democrats) and force feed what 65% of Americans (public option) want and what 54% of Americans voted for. We aren’t going to get along on any of the current issues just like a lot of people didn’t like Medicare or Medicaid and now most people are ok with it. We have to make some changes that a large group of people aren’t going to like whether it’s the left or the right. Git-R-Done! MR PRESIDENT

The great American President has proved that Americans have understood that qualities of a man are more valuable than colour, caste and creed. All over the world people welcomed Obama's presidency. Mr. Barak... keep reading →
Obama Is Trying To Save America's Schoolyard Rep

Our newly elected President has a Kennedy esque aura that is both charming and alluring. Behind the facade however lurks a naive lack of experience that frankly worries me. Obama has helped America in the sense that we the American people have the ability to come together and look beyond petty prejudices and by majority elect a man of color as President. On the other hand Obama has yet to hurt America, but the wheels are turning into that direction based upon his policies that border upon Socialism domestically, and Foreign policy that uses apologies for past so called American mistakes, and a calling for American understanding of adversaries abroad to find common ground. Our enemies will see this as a weakness, and use it to their advantage. While there is nothing wrong with diplomacy with our adversaries, looking for common ground with the likes of Iran,North Korea, Syria, and others is a quest for Utopia. President Obama is in the big leagues now. Hopefully he will learn sooner rather than later that not everyone is going to like us nor wish us well.

President Obama has shown us why experience does matter. As a Senator you are part of a body that takes up and down votes, of which he participated less that 35% of the time. As a Governor you are the CEO of the State. You make executive decisions daily. You go head to head with leglative bodies, not up and down votes.
We learned the lesson of executicve experience and how important it is a long time ago. That is why the last President elected from the Senate was JFK. He at least had some life experience having commanded a PT boat in WWII. He showed judgement and leadership in saving his crews lives.
McCain also having only Senate experience as an elected politician also had the leadership skills to fall back on from Anapolis. He had the discipline of being a fighter pilot and the obvious endurance it took surviving the Hanoi Hilton. He also demonstrated loyalty and leadership by not taking the release offered to him before others in line.
Unfortuantely Obama has had none of this. It explains his naive approach to dealing with our enemies. It is why he has spent more than all Presidents from Washington to W. If this were a conservative spending at this pace the press would be calling for the guilitine. I only hope we as a nation can hold on long enough to the 2010 elections. If the House can be turned over it may put a stop to the madness.

I think Obama at this point is vying with George W. Bush to be the worst President that America has ever known. He has set aside E Verify under the guise that too many illegal aliens would lose their jobs (7.5 million illegal aliens still have jobs) if it were enacted, yet, we have over 12 million legal Americans out of work.
Same thing with the Stimulus Bill...the way it was written and signed into law means over 300,000 illegal aliens will get jobs paid for with our taxes...again, if E Verify were implemented, funded and made mandatory for every company in America this would not be the reality.
His bragged about S-Chip that is paid for on the back of smokers gives health coverage to 4.5 million anchor babies, the children of illegal aliens.
His Socialist Universal Health Care plan would give health coverage to 12-25 million illegal aliens at the expense of America's Middle Class.
Are we seeing a trend you...you betcha. He is throwing the Middle Class under the bus to win a political voting block, and that is not leadership, but selling out.
