Chrischicki (also phonetic since I don't know how to spell it) -- I've had these made so that they were flaky in consistency like pie dough and fluffy like cake doughnuts. Both are Polish and both are shaped in the same traditional way. The lady who commented said they looked like angel wings but actually they are like bow ties. I will be posting this recipe in the next week or so and it will be called "Beer Bow Ties." After these cookies have come out of the deep fryer they are covered with powdered sugar.
