Cool Sandbox ideas to kids?

Try a large farm tractor tire and fill it with sand. Built in seats. rolled into place.

I have dampened the sand in my kids' sandbox so that they can build sandcastles and such. I've also hidden coins, dinosaurs and other toys for them to hunt for or extract. I've heard that now they sell color sand in big bags instead of the small craft bags, so I've been thinking of adding that to their sand box.
