In Australia we have either the Murdoch press or the Fairfax press. Murdoch papers are notoriously anti labor(democrat in America-speak) and any story that makes labor look good will be buried in the middle pages. Emotion charged stories no matter how lame and just plain pathetic will often be seen on the front page of the Murdoch morning papers so as not to demand too much brain power from the reader. Sadly, these are also our biggest selling papers; although it is moreso because they are tabloid as opposed to broardsheet.In other words, easier to handle; easier for the idiot readers to turn the pages.
