I personally love Antigua and Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. The scenery is spectacular, the people friendly, great handi-crafts and the prices are much lower than in Belize or Costa Rica. There's also Tikal, Mayan ruins set in the middle of a rainforest, they're the most incredible ruins! Maybe you should make a plan depending on how much time you have each country has its own unique experiances and places to see. If you are planning a longer trip it would be great to get out and really experiance some of the country that tourist never see.
