Any old ICE car that has been converted to electric & uses green friendly batteries.

Why? Well your "donor" car is recycled, electric is 100% non-polluting at the point of use & can be very green at the point of power production in several ways, if you can get hydro, wind, solar or geothermal power. If Lithium Ion batteries are used, there is no acid or heavy metals & they are 100% recycleable.

You could also use NiMH batteries and still be pretty green, the Nickel is considered mildly hazardous, but they are still 100% recycleable.

See my hub on building your own electric car: http://hubpages.com/hub/So-you-want-to-build-your-

Or you could just go buy a Tesla!
