Are you afraid of death?

I don't fear death. Even in my childhood I understood it and accepted it as inevitable. Death being a fact of life, I figure that living in fear of life ending seems pointless. It will happen. I don't know what comes after or if there is nothing. I understand that for some people the fear is not of the death but of the idea that after that you cease to exist. For some it is the opposite. Either way it just doesn't bother me. Never has. So what about you my fellow hubbers, do you fear death?

Short answer: No. Long answer: facing death while alive through meditation and the 'loss' of self is one way to meet death while living. It seems as if it would be much of the same. Besides, why worry about something you have little control over?

I try not to think about it, I just want it to happen because then I'll be with God. So not really
