because the alternative is like passing a bowling ball thru the eye of a needle...

i have three boys, and on my first, I never suspected I would have to go the way of the c--I kept thinking these hips were going to pay off...but my first son's head was a whopping 13 cm, and I could not go past 6 cm even with all the pitocin in the world...the poor kid was so banged up from trying to get through...

I scheduled my other boys with c-sec and would not have done it any differently...

and daym1, i am not sure if you are a man or a woman, but anyone who calls a woman a wimp for wanting to avoid their nether regions ripped from tip to taint is down right misogynistic...no mom should be referred to as a wimp, especially since child delivery, any which way, is the easiest part of bringing up a child--easy for you to say since we have no clue who you are!

I didn't know ceserean sections were optional? I have had four out of neccessity and I can promise you that they are most definitely not for wimps! I went through labor the first 2 pregnancies and felt every contraction and I would have rather had the first two babies natural after all that work and pain I had to go thru!

Those who have the opinion that c-sections are for wimps doesn't know what they are talking about and probably is a guy or has never given birth.

Whether you go natural or have a c-section its painful either way and sometimes you don't have a choice. Giving birth is for warriors no matter how it happens.
