Well... there are many reasons that are a result of not breast feeding, some are they don't like to breat feed, they think the milk formula is better, they hear myths about saggy breats due to breastfeeding, embrassed about breast feeding the list goes on..

There are a lot of reasons why. For me it wasn't really an option- Layla wasn't latching on and I had problems with my breasts that made it harder for her to latch on, on top of that my milk didn't come in for 4 days. So here I am with a baby that doesn't want to latch, breasts that aren't helping me out and I'm looking for milk that isn't even there, and on top of that I have a newborn baby to take care of. My stress was through the roof, so I had to destress myself for my mental state of mind and I eliminated breast feeding and it made me relax and be able to enjoy my baby. That being said, my daughter has been on formula for 6 months, never been sick and has never even had a negative reaction from a vaccine. I have been sick twice since she was born- she never got it- and her cousin who is breast fed got an awful cold at 2 months. Now everyone says formula is AWFUL and you NEED TO BREASTFEED but my baby is doing just fine and she has never been sick.
