Christmas in the Philippines is the longest celebration of the year. Some of the Filipinos start to devote the ber months to it, starting as early as September, on through October and November and reaching the climax at December. The streets, malls, stores, bazars, and everywhere are busy places. People are buying Christmas gifts for their loved ones. Yuletide season is the time for the grand reunion of the family. We, Filipinos willing to cross the seas or fly through airlines just to be with with our loved ones.
Christmas gifts and cards placed in the Christmas tree are ready. The house is fully decorated with giant Christmas trees, and lanterns with nice glittering lights. It's already a Filipino tradition of having a noche buena on the Christmas eve. The families were gathered together having a "salosalo". The best food will be served like "keso de bola", "hamonada", round-shaped fruits, lechon and many more.
