If you started a job in the last six months, how did you learn about it? Job fair? Careerbuilder?

Most of the jobs that I started came from word of mouth, someone told me about the opening. thats why I feel networking and keeping social contacts are important to finding a job.

I went to the college placement offices. You can use them for free. I also hard word of mouth and got a recommendation from a lady who works out at the same gym as me.

I started and ended a job in the last 6 months. The way I heard about the job is in the classifieds section of the newspaper. That is a good place to search in addition to Craigslist.com, Careerbuilder.com, Monster.com and job fairs. I got a call back from Craigslist when I was looking for jobs. Another good place to try is Temp agencies.
