This depends on your topic, style of writing, how useful is the content etc. The more useful and original you write, the more you will earn. Quality of content is king.

It depend on the number article, traffic & luck.
Plus you own creative way to build the traffic. Need to write article frequently, because there a lot article being written everyday. Tops performers are writing about 4 to 8 articles per day.
Just join, the traffic that i am getting from my hubpages is much more better if I compared with my blog.
So, this is a good platform to write and make money.
