I have a hub with zero outgoing links but I still get Overly Promotional
[url]http://hubpages.com/hub/Multiple-WordPress-Blogs-on-a-single-MySQL-database[/url]. Has anyone observed that. I had to take out links to DMOZ too because it was flagged as too many affiliate links. I took the following out but still of no avail: So subdomain1.domain.com is a different site fro

The Overly Promotional flag will not be lifted from a hub that's been moderated until you submit the hub for publication, using the button on the hub itself. At that time, it goes into a queue to be reviewed. Once I get to it in that queue and see that it's been brought into compliance with our rules, I republish it, and that message disappears.

Hubpage staff looks at the contents and not the links. Overpromotional does not mean that you are selling your brand with links. Overpromotional means that maybe you have too many links in the hubpage, only two are allowed. Overpromotional means that the content is promoting one item or product too much.
You can vote each answer up or down to show your support or disapproval. You cannot flag an answer, but if an answer receives enough down votes compared to up votes, then it will become hidden.
