Things to consider before exploring an old cemetery.
Is it right to assume that the public can visit a cemetery as long as there is no sign stating otherwise? As along as you do it by day and are respectful you are in the clear, correct?

Old cemeteries can be dangerous places if they have not been cared for! Watch your step! Watch out for snakes!

My ex and I used to love going through cemetaries, provided they were not marked "No Trespassing." Most cemetaries close at dusk. It is amazing the amount of history you can find on a region just by paying attention to the dates and names. It becomes obvious when times were good and bad. It is also interesting to note details of the area (street names, business names , historical markers) as these can be clues to prominant families or at least names of regional value. If you would like further ideas, let me know.
