How does twitter make money?
I do not see any ads on there site. Just curious! :D

Twitter should be sold to Google like Youtube. Monetization is not a core Twitter function.

They are still trying to figure that out. But that doesn't mean that the founders won't be able to sell it for millions. After all, twatting is so "kewl", isn't it?

It is my understanding that Twitter's value is its ability to drive customers to your website. For instance, if you have a blog site that is linked to a sales page, you can announce a new blog article with links to it. A certain number of "interested" individuals will log onto your site and may become buyers. Of all the links back to my website, twitter actually drives more traffic to my blog site than Google.
