While we debate abortion, murder of a grown human being continues to be against the law, period. If you take it upon yourself to kill anyone, no matter how terrible you think that person is or how much you think that person 'deserves' it, you are breaking the law and committing murder, which is a punishable offense.

Late term abortion is seriously misrepresented by right to life organizations and people who don't like to have to think. Most late term abortions are done because something is horribly wrong: the fetus is severely malformed, the life of the mother is in danger (i.e. uterine cancer), and so forth, so it isn't at all like women just pop into the abortionist's office in their 39th week and say, "Get rid of this for me, will you?"

This question is vile. The fact that you phrased it this way shows a total lack of understanding of the issue and an insensitivity that borders on hatred. Should we all just murder everyone we disagree with? That would keep the population down and I suppose abortion would be less of an issue then. I mean, it is one solution and it certainly has caught on in the past. I don't personally think it's a good idea, but that's just me.

Murder as a way of winning arguments would make for far less traffic at the HP forums though.

George Tiller: Murder or very very late-term abortion?

George Tiller may have performed late-term abortions but did he deserve to be murdered for that?  To those people who are Christians, God gave us free will and we have the right to do what we want with that... keep reading →

Don't you find it ironic that "PRO"-lifers are FOR saving life, but still willing to murder to protect it?

What is WRONG with this picture? Any guesses?

Both sides claim they are right. Even terrorists claim they are right. Being "right" is extremely relative, subjective and volatile from person to person. However, I think a better guide is to do good.

Who can argue with what good is?

Good point.

By his own life's work, Tiller ultimately asked for this question to be asked.

And to many, calling the death of Tiller murder is equivalent to calling his life's work murder.

And to others, aborting babies partially born is not much different than aborting adults who are fully born.

Personally, I find both vile, and reprehensible.

Of course it is murder and I hope the murderer gets life.

Abortion is legal in the US and he was following through with what women requested. Abortions are not performed just for the fun of it...
