Use your odometer on your car and reset it each time you need to measure your driving distance. Record the information. Most of the time tax records request mileage to and from work. If you take the same route to work, then you can record the two and from distances and then multiply the number by the total work days. Add and record distances that you travel that is job related if the company or business does not reimburse you.
