Does the Adsense income on adverts on my site belong to me? i made my first hub and adverts appeared
I have joined Google Adsense for my web site previously does it auto carry over to Hubpage.com?

You will need to sign up with adsense then when you get your publisher ID add it to your backoffice section on hubpages, because you share 40% of your adsense revenue with hubpages.

You must to copy your Google Adsense affiliate code from your adsense account and paste in your hub account/affiliate settings. Then create some hubs and start making some money.
