How can I improve the strength of my will power?

When concerning growth as well as change there is one wrods that sums it up Discipline. You must change what you have conditioned yourself to accept as acceptable and discipline yourself to do those things that are needed for you to go forward as well as progress productively. There is no specific way/rules or regulations, if you truly want to improve you will through discipline!

Try not eating for a day

Try not using the computer for a day

Try to stay away from dessert for a day

It's the little things that you do to practice. Those make it easier to do the bigger things. It's hard to improve your will-power but it can be done.

Start with something small, and easy to give up, Then use that success as a springboard for something a little harder. Practice it, build up to it.

I guess it depends on where you are trying to place your will power. If it's on something you have little value for, then it's better to find the value, or let it go.

If it's something imposed from the outside, then your chances of conquering it are pretty low or nul.

What I try to do is look deeply into my heart to see what is really important. Then I vision myself having conquered it. Now I've fueled my willpower with my heart's desire and holding on is much easier and effortless. If I do fall off the wagon, I can more quickly pick myself up again.

My opinion is you start off achieving things you are good at. Find a hobby and start achieving tasks you write down for yourself. Start off with small tasks and then build up to bigger tasks. You will start being very proud of yourself and hearing others giving you attaboys helps as well.
