You have to simply ask yourself why are you breaking up with your girl, and that same answer to yourself is what you should tell her, a break up is never easy but you have to be honest with yourself and to her.

we as girls can be very emotional, especially if we really trust you. you should definitely avoid texts, emails, and phone calls. if you can't tell her face to face, you don't deserve to be let off the hook about it that easily, period.

let her know how special she is and was to you, if she feels unloved she might be more upset. you could try pulling the friends card, personally i like to stay friends with my exes, but she may not share the same outlook as i do. so, i recommend that you NOT try to kiss her after you break up with her, that's not the best idea. a hug might be okay, but i wouldn't know whether or not she'd accept it. if she asks you questions about why, ANSWER THEM. untied ends never turn out pretty, and she will end up feeling hurt, betrayed, used, and bitter. if she's the jealous type, unresolved problems may reflect on your future girlfriends as well.

In a girl's point of view it's really painful if a guy will break up with us but if the relationship is not working then why hang on to it? Painful as it seems, in my opinion I'll appreciate it if a guy will break up with me and give me an honest answer why he wants the break up. Remember, girls really need to have the answers for our peace of mind. No matter how painful it is. As to the question how? That's pretty hard but as the song goes "Break it to HER gently". Have the guts to meet her personally for the break up even if she will slap you in the face in doing so. But if you are a coward then a break up letter stating the reasons would do.

Ya know I always worried about this one too, I always thought that women were extra sensitive and it would take nothing to shatter thier worlds when a big nuclear bomb like this is to be dropped. Absolutely not the case here. Women are born with a special guard thier hearts wall that men dont have. If you just come up to her and tell her that you dont have anymore to give the realtionship and you cant go any further, they usually understand. They say we can be friends you get a hug and then you cry for a day or so. Unless she's a psycho, then your dead.
